Our 'family accommodation' is within walking distance of Overdale Equestrian Centre. The cost is £27.50/night, for a single room. The minimum booking for family accommodation is 2 nights. Breakfast (toast and tea/coffee) is provided at Overdale. This means that if you are coming from abroad, it is viable to attend a course without hiring a car. (You will just need to get a taxi from Kingham train station - see below.) Unless you are very unlucky, there will be enough cars in the group to give lifts to the local shop and to various pubs if you want to eat outside the village.
You can stay on site in a lorry or camper van, and use our new shower room (£3/shower)!
Please indicate on your booking form if you would like the 'family' option. We arrange the acomodation for you, and let you know where you are staying when you arrive.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
OUR NEAREST TRAIN STATION IS KINGHAM, WHICH IS 4 MILES AWAY. When you arrive you will wondour if you genuinely are in the middle of nowhere! (Answer: nearly but not quite.) Do not expect to find a station cafe, taxi cabs or a phone booth. Pre-oder a taxi if you possibly can (see below). It works well to do this from Reading station once you have confirmed the time of your train to Kingham.
Kingham station is on the Hereford and Worcester line, which comes from London Paddington station, via Reading. It links to other main lines via Reading, Didcot and Oxford stations. From Heathrow Airport, you can get the Railair Link to Reading, and the train from there. The Railair Link is a coach that goes from the Central Bus Station at Heathrow. However, be aware that arriving at Terminal 4 adds another (rather confusing) stage to your journey.
FROM TERMINALS 1,2, and 3, you walk to the Bus Station via underground walkways that you should see clearly signed after you have come through customs into the main arrival hall. They will also be signed to Heathrow Underground station. When you get to the station, look for signs to the lift that goes up into the ticket office of the Bus Station. Here you can buy bus tickets. This route is cheaper and faster than taking the Heathrow Express into Paddingon Station in central London, and then catching that same train from there - by this method you go East before you then take the train to the West.
FROM TERMINAL 5. The Railair link also stops at Terminal 5. If you arrive here, buy a ticket from the National Coach kiosk on the wall opposite the terminal exits, then proceed outside the terminal to find the bus stop on the kerb outside the building. (I think it's stop number 10.)
FROM TERMINAL 4. Arriving at Terminal 4 adds an extra stage to your journey. You have to catch a bus to terminal 5 before then catching the Railair Coach. Bus numbers 482 and 490 are free, and take 12-15 minutes. Make sure the bus you catch is going in the right direction - if in doubt, ask the driver! At Terminal 5 you have to go inside to buy your coach ticket, before finding the coach stop for the Railair Link, which is close to where you arrived at the bus stop for the 482 and 490. This is all such a pain that some airline has to be giving you a phenominally good deal to make it worth landing at Terminal 4!
DO NOT FLY INTO GATWICK, if you can posibly avoid it, the journey to us can be a nightmare, but thankfully it can be done by train via Reading, without going into London. If you do go into London you will have to take yourself and your luggage from Victoria station to Paddington station on the Underground, which is not a recommended experience!
It is also viable to fly into Birmingham, take a train to Oxford, and change there onto the Hereford and Worcester Line and Kingham station.
