EXTRAS
Alongside the courses we offer Feldenkrais Functional Integration and Awareness Through Movement lessons for riders, and also a bodywork session for you horss. We hope you will take advantage of these, and benefit from looking at some of the factors beyond your riding technique which frequently limit performance. Take this chance to M.O.T. yourself and your horse! See booking form for details.
FACILITES
Facilities at OEC include a 22m x 66m covered arena with excellent mirrors, plus show jumps, and excellent local riding. The workshop/ breakfast room is always warm, but please dress warmly as it can be breezy watching lessons.

We are offering a new optional groundwork session for riders who only want to ride once, and ask you to state your preference for supervised flatwork or groundwork on your booking form. This teaches the basics of Equine Learning Theory, following the work of Australian Andrew McLean.Once the horse understands the aids for go, stop, 'park', right and left from the ground, ridden work becomes much easier. We will not hold you to your choice – you are allowed to change your mind when you arrive, but it helps us to have an idea of numbers.
